It's time to get Old School! |
Old school?
Are you growing tired of playing all those high framerate first person shooters? Perhaps you secretly lust for the days of blocky ANSI graphics and text based goodness? For those of us that had a computer before the days of the internet the sound of a dialup modem might bring back memories of the BBS days where you could play text based games of all sorts against other distant people. For us this was our first exposure to what would become the MMO games of today. At that time most systems were run by private individuals as a hobby. These classic online games were not 'monetized' with monthly fees and wont hit you up for buck or two each time you are short on in-game money, turns or need that one last upgrade to defeat that dork that keeps invading your turf.
Nostalgia?
Nostalgia seems to be popular these days. This site and the games hosted here make no excuses. Play them and relive some memories or make some new ones!
